Push your Limits

GOD is calling you to step out of your comfort zone to be lifted to another level of your faith by the power of the Holy Spirit working in your live.

GOD wants you to walk from progress to progress, from faith to faith and from glory to glory. The Apostle Paul will tell the Thessalonians:

"We pray and beseech you in the name of the Lord Jesus to walk in this respect from progress to progress." (1 Thessalonians 4:1)

Confess it at the beginning of this message

Let us agree together to confess it now:

"I declare that today is my day, it is my season, it is my year, for I will walk progressively with GOD and by His power He will raise me to a higher level in my faith, and that by His abundant and infinite grace. In the name of Jesus Christ, amen."

Change your thinking

To go to another level, that is, much higher in your faith, radically change your thinking to align your thoughts with those of GOD.

In the book of the prophet Isaiah, GOD says: Isaiah 55:8

"For my thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not my ways, says the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts."

GOD is warning you and He is asking you to align your thoughts with His thoughts, which is why it is important that you now overthrow anything that stands against the very thought of God, as the Apostle Paul says in

2 Corinthians10:5: "We overthrow reasonings and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and we bring every thought captive to the obedience of Christ."

We have all received some kind of education that takes us more or less away from the Word of God, for example your parents or even your teacher told you that you were nothing, that you would never be able to study, that you would never succeed in life, and all kinds of similar thoughts. These negative words about you have influenced your thoughts and, therefore, your actions, because you believed them; it is these statements that have guided your life until today. Understand that this keeps you away from the mind of God, away from faith in God, by plunging you into doubt and unbelief for now and for your future.

Do not allow these strongholds of thought to dwell in your mind.

Instead, align your thoughts with the mind of Christ.

Above all, do not allow these strongholds of thought to influence your heart, for they will blind you from seeing God as He really is. The consequence of this is that you will put limits on what God wants and can accomplish in your life, you will limit the destiny that GOD has for you.

God does not want you to be limited because He, EL SHADDAI, is unlimited.

He wants His people to be a people who believe in the unlimited power of GOD, a power that GOD has deposited in each of us.

Through the faith of GOD that He has placed in us, we have become a people without limit!

Declare it with me now: "With GOD, I am limitless. I declare: with GOD, no more limits because I align my thoughts with His Word, with His promises for me."

Be transformed

It all starts with your thinking, which is why Paul says in Romans 12:2: "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect."

Paul tells us here that there is a clear distinction between these two different ways of thinking:

1. Thinking like the world will always limit us, and we will always say: I don't have this or I am not that, always impossibilities.

2. Thinking like and with GOD becomes very exhilarating because it brings us, by faith, into the unlimitedness of God, His supernatural, heaven on earth!

As a born-again child of GOD, you must not follow the ephemeral ways of this present world but, on the contrary, you must follow a way of life, a much higher way of living and in conformity with the will of GOD revealed in His Word.

To conform to this world is to think and act like everyone else, and that is not what GOD wants for you and me. Do not let the evil principles of this world that are too contrary to the mind of God into your heart because then your thoughts will make you an instrument for evil or for injustice. You will then fight against God.

Whereas when your heart, your thoughts, are fuelled by divine and spiritual principles of the Gospel, the Good News, then your thoughts will be transformed in such a way that they will become an instrument for doing good, for bringing peace and security.

A renewed mind is under the influence of the Holy Spirit and the revelations He brings. Again, Romans 12:2 in the Amplified Bible (AMP):

"And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be [a]transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you]."`

We are talking about the system of this world; if you continue to be influenced by the system of this world, you will very quickly adopt the world's way of thinking with all its limitations, impossibilities and disappointments in the face of disease, in the face of poverty, in the face of the trials that you will face some day.

Don't fit into the mould of everyone else, don't let the world influence your way of thinking and acting.

Resisting the influence of this world will be a daily struggle for you.

In the face of adversity, think and speak like the Word of God

Paul will say to the Philippians, "I can do all things through Him who strengthens me." Another translation says: "I can do all things [that He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfil His purpose]" (AMP) Philippians 4:13

This text teaches us that with GOD there are no limits. Believe the Word of GOD that there are no limits through faith in Christ.

Confess with me, "I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me. I declare that with GOD there are no limits.

Proverbs 23:7 states, "For he is as the thoughts of his soul," which means "he is as he thinks in his heart.

What you refuse to put out of your mind, what is worldly and contrary to the Word of GOD, will eventually enter your heart and you will begin to experience it, become it and do as you think in your heart, this is what Proverbs 4:23 says, "Guard your heart more than anything else, for from it come the springs of life."

Let me ask you a question, "In what directions do your thoughts go?"

Have you noticed that your life tends to go in the direction of your most dominant thoughts?

This is because we have been brought up with thoughts of failure at school, thoughts of poverty, thoughts of fear of illness or conflict etc.

If, when faced with a challenge, you think of failure or that you are likely to fail or if you think of defeat, you will act in such a way that, in the end, you will be defeated.

But if, instead, you align your thoughts and what you say with the Word of GOD, then things will change. 1 John 5:3-4 says:

"For the love of God consists in keeping his commandments. And his commandments are not grievous, for whatever is born of God overcomes the world; and the victory that overcomes the world is our faith."

So who are the conquerors of this world's thought system and defeat its power? Those who believe that Jesus is the Son of God.

God's grace gives us the power to love, which makes his commandments a pleasure instead of a duty. The spontaneity of love is never overwhelmed by the commands of a loving God.

So you think and declare, "I am a winner, because my God says I am a winner, it is my faith that overcomes the world."

Put that statement in your thoughts and in your heart, declare it out loud, because faith comes from what you hear from the Word of Christ, so by that statement of faith, that is exactly what you are going to become or be able to accomplish.

Put the Word of God in your mouth

Confess the Word of God and not the thoughts of your heart that too often discourage you and cause you to lose your focus on faith in GOD.

Here are some examples of confessions you should make daily:

To begin with, let us quote from 1 Corinthians 15:57

"But thanks be to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ!"

And then the confession: I declare and decree about the situation I am in, "that the victory is mine in Christ Jesus; therefore, God, I thank you."

Here is another text: Philippians 4:19

"And my God will supply all your needs according to his riches with glory in Christ Jesus."

I confess, declare and decree about my financial situation, "God I thank you because You provide for all my needs, I am rich because You are rich, in Christ Jesus I am free from debt."

Put the Word of GOD, first in your heart and then declare it, put it in your mouth for it is by faith and by your declarations of faith that victory will come.

King David says in Psalms 18:3, while surrounded by his enemies and pursued by King Saul who wants to kill him, David declares and decrees, "I cry out: Praise be to the Lord! And I am delivered from my enemies." It is the declaration of praise that comes out of his mouth that will deliver him from his enemies, and it is the same for you and me.

There are over 50 Psalms and many other promises that declare and decree victory.

2 Chronicles 20:15; 1 Samuel 17:45-47; Romans 8:31 and 37; Psalms 118:16; Jeremiah 20:11; 1 John 4:4; John 16:33; Revelation 12:11; etc.

Let the Word of GOD rule your thoughts

If you allow the Word of God to rule your thoughts and to rule your heart, then you will experience what God wants for you, you will experience God's best and, believe me, you will love Him.

You must fix your attention on God in order to be changed from within.

Renewal of the mind, renewal of the spirit, is vital and very important if you want to move to another and much higher level of faith.

Jesus said, "The good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth good things, and the evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth evil things; for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks." (Luke 6:45)

You must believe Jesus Christ who declares and decrees that: "Verily I say unto you, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye would say unto this mountain, Remove thyself thence, and it would remove itself: and nothing shall be impossible unto you." (Matthew 17:20)

Is Jesus telling the truth or is he lying?

No, of course not, we know that Jesus is telling the truth, which is why he says: "Believe that by faith in GOD all things are possible to you..." (Matthew 17:20).

In Mark 9:23, Jesus answers the father of the lunatic boy. Jesus said to him, "If you can! All things are possible to him that believeth" and "Immediately the father of the boy cried out, I believe; help my unbelief!

Break down the stronghold of unbelief in your life by agreeing with the Word of GOD and say:

In agreement with the Word of God, I declare and decree over my life that "all things are possible to me because I believe." This is possible wherever you live, even in the darkest places on this planet.

This text from Mark 9:23 is here to help you remove what you think is "impossible" and replace it with "all things are possible".

This is how you work on the renewal of the mind, the renewal of your thinking. Your mind must become the mind of Christ, that's what the Apostle Paul says in 1 Corinthians 2:16:

"For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

With the same mind as Christ, everything is possible, for God is a God without limit.

There are no limits with GOD, He is El Shaddai, for His Name means: "the GOD with whom nothing is impossible."

The GOD we serve is not limited and whatever your need is, He is greater than your need, so believe it and declare it now, as it is written in Genesis 18:14, "Is there anything that is amazing from the LORD?"

Do not diminish or limit God!

In Psalms 78 which is a summary of the history of Israel, and in verse 19, it is written that the people spoke against God saying, "Could God set a table in the wilderness? Behold, he struck the rock, and waters flowed, and streams poured out; will he also be able to give bread, or provide meat for his people?"

Notice, every time they had a need, the people of Israel questioned God's ability to meet it, God's ability to provide it.

They said, can God do, is He able to do this or that?

In other words, they had become small minded people putting God on their human level. They thought and declared that for GOD it would be impossible, they acted in an unbelieving way, they saw God as smaller than their great need.

However, in this Psalms 78, we are reminded of all the miracles, signs and wonders that GOD did for them. Yet, in spite of this, they continued to think small whenever a new need arose before them. Every time there was a new challenge, they said, "But is God able to meet it?

As believers, we should never ask the question, "Can God do it?" but instead we should declare and decree, "Yes He can and He will.

Say it: "my God can". He can because we have a God without limits.

GOD wants to take us and bring us to the next level.

Take away the limits

Dare to believe what the apostle PAUL says in Ephesians 3:20

"Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you." (The Passion Translation)

Let us pray

"Heavenly Father in the name of Jesus Christ, from this moment on, I refuse to think small, to speak negatively; I refuse to limit You in my life, I refuse to limit You in my ministry. From this day forward, my spirit is renewed.

I declare and decree that I think like You, You don't have small thoughts, You don't have thoughts of impossibility, You think all things are possible, that's the way I believe, that's the way I'm going to speak.

"From today I declare that all things are possible for me in the name of Jesus Christ."
